"I love fire. The flame. I love the metaphorical aspects of it. I love how we interject it to describe our loves and passions. The fact that it produces light and warmth makes it seem alive. It breathes, dances, consumes. They say that since I'm an air sign (a Gemini), I'm drawn to fire signs, like it's my nature to seek people with these qualities.
"Another thing about fire is that it can turn on you. So many risks, and I want to be air, to be that breath sustaining, able to be blown wherever towards whatever situation. I'm afraid of ultimately being consumed, but fear won't get you anywhere (except maybe a trip to the doctor for ulcers). So I keep giving. It can be the greatest privilege to not have a choice."
