I've been involved in media production since 1989, with experience in television, film, radio, and the Web. I handcode pixel-perfect HTML sites and build engaging Flash sites and banners. I've helped produce feature length films as an editor, post-production supervisor, and score composer. I've been an on-air personality, on-location sound authority, and an on-task instructor, educator, and voice coach. My best work comes from combining one or more of the above disciplines and creating something new.
Candid employee interviews, captivating campus footage, and interactive maps unite to create an engaging site for Alcon HR. I designed the site’s user-experience/interactivity, developed the HTML, CSS, and Javascript, edited the videos.
Flash-based map application for Elsevier’s Careers group, featuring an interface and user experience that’s easy on the eyes. All map points, descriptions, and pics are managed in XML, giving Elsevier the ability to update the site’s information at anytime.
Slick design comes to life in this microsite and store for JH Audio, developed with a lethal combo of Flash, Drupal, and Zen Cart.

The Professional Inline Hockey Association site was redesigned from the ground up and build in Drupal, allowing PIHA staff to take advantage of all that the robust CMS has to offer, including photo galleries, blogs, podcasts, a user forum, and updatable game schedule.
John Jackson needed a way to give video tours of available properties. Using Drupal as the backend I developed a player that integrated into his current site. His staff can add listings, change details, and upload video tours. Videos are swapped in/out of the player via Javascript.
This one-page site is simple in its design, but when viewed on a mobile device the site switches from two-column to a single-column layout.
Design prototype for the new 88mm Productions site, an indie film production company based in St. Louis.
Video produced for Geofacets, a geological mapping application and resource tool. All animation was produced using After Effects and Premiere (and a boatload of maps).
A scene from the motion picture RHINELAND, a WWII film shot in Missouri, which received international acclaim. The film now has a DVD distribution deal, to be released in 2011.

Creating a buzzworthy project requires a solid foundation; storyboarding, site mapping, and wireframing are all essential steps to make sure you're headed in the right direction, as well as sending the right message. I've planned and produced many types of projects from website redesigns to commercial shoots.
